Programs
Partners In Housing offers three distinct programs that compliment one another.
The Homeless Self-Sufficiency Program
Our primary mission is to help homeless families achieve self-sufficiency by providing our Homeless Self-Sufficiency program. This program provides two years of transitional housing, case management, life skills training, budget counseling, and (if beneficial) therapy to help homeless households get back on their feet. For more information, please see the "Program Description", "Eligibility", and "Application" menu options to the left.
The Affordable Housing Program
Our affordable housing program provides rental housing to lower-income working households at affordable rents. These units are income restricted and rent restricted, meaning that the rent is capped at a level considered to be affordable for a certain household income, and families must earn a certain income level or below in order to qualify to live in the housing. Partners In Housing has affordable units restricted to household earning at or below 30%, 40%, 50% and 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI). For more information, please select the "Affordable Housing " menu option to the left.
The Housing Counseling Program
Partners In Housing offers FREE monthly Homebuyer's Workshops certified by the Colorado Housing Finance Agency (CHFA) and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The class is held the first Saturday every month, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a break for lunch. This workshop provides a comprehensive overview of the home-buying process, and includes a workbook for each participant to keep. PIH also provides individualized pre-purchase counseling for home buyers. For more infomration, please see the "Housing Counseling" menu option to the left.
