On Thursday, July 26th, 2007, the Myron Stratton Consortium
was dedicated. Nina Sparano, KRDO News anchor, emceed the dedication, and
Bishop Richard Hanifen, who was one of the original founders of Partners In
Housing (PIH), provided the invocation.
Then PIH Executive Director Dick Conn, along with Mayor Lionel Rivera, Myron Stratton Home Executive Director Mark Turk, TESSA Executive Director Michelle Valdez, and Sue Foerster, Past Chair of the Board of Peak Vista Community Health Centers, were all on hand to welcome guests celebrate the official opening of the Myron Stratton Consortium. Amid lush landscaping and historic architecture, guests were treated to refreshments and were offered Colorado Spruce saplings so that they may plant their very own “Seeds for the Future.”
The Consortium will provide a continuum of care that will
serve as a model for human service agencies across the country: PIH, together
with TESSA,
Our deepest gratitude goes to the Myron Stratton Home, whose
generosity and foresight has made this beneficial collaborative possible.
