Mission & Objectives:

Partners In Housing, Inc. ("PIH") is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to provide homeless families with children the hope and opportunity to achieve self-sufficiency through supportive services and transitional housing. To achieve this mission, we provide homeless families with up to two years of transitional housing, during which time they also participate in intensive supportive services, including case management, budget counseling, life skills training, and (when beneficial) professional therapy.

We call the clients in our program "Partners", because we work with them, not for them, to help them improve their lives. Objectives of our program include helping our Partners to find permanent housing, further their education, find sustainable employment, improve family stability, and facilitate long-term goal achievement and self-sufficiency. Upon completion of the PIH program, a family with children who would otherwise have been homeless is now a self-assured, productive family unit.

Stratton Consortium:

When Winfield Scott Stratton died in 1902, his legacy was the creation of a home to care for the Pikes Peak region's poor.

More than a century later, the Myron Stratton Home is expanding that legacy, joining Partners in Housing, Peak Vista Community Health Centers and TESSA to form the Stratton Consortium. Together we strive to foster a community of support and care for those in need. The Myron Stratton Home continues to provide a home for the low-income elderly of El Paso County

Partners in Housing provides families who are homeless with the opportunity for self-sufficiency through supportive services and transitional housing.

TESSA is dedicated to issues of domestic violence and sexual assault in El Paso and Teller Counties in Colorado.

Peak Vista Community Health Centers is a nonprofit health center dedicated to medical and dental services for the uninsured and underinsured in the Pikes Peak region.
