At Partners In Housing, our mission is to provide homeless families with children the hope and opportunity to achieve self-sufficiency through supportive services and transitional housing. We can also serve a limited number of homeless adults without children.
We believe that with the right services and support - and a lot of hard work and motivation - families can move from homelessness to independence. To help families on this journey, PIH offers up to two years of housing and supportive services.
We call the clients in our program "Partners", because we work with them, not for them, to help them improve their lives.
Our program is about self-sufficiency, not just housing. Supportive services are a critical part of our program, teaching families the skills they need to succeed. PIH's program includes case management, life skills classes, monthly individual budget counseling, and in some cases professional therapy.
